Using QuckBooks Pro 6 for the Mac with OS 10.4.2 I found that the record button on the registry was grayed out. I could work around it by using the check form and deposit ticket, but I prefer the register.
I called Intuit and was told that there's free upgrade to version 7 for those running the same configuration as I have. Not all the techs and sales reps know about this.
