Payroll Setup in Premier

Our company currently uses QB Pro 2003. It has served us adequately. However, we must soon upgrade as support is ending.

There is one big complaint we have with Pro 2003 payroll. Whenever comp or union benefit rates, etc. change or an employee works at a different rate, the defaults no longer function and changes must be made at the individual employee level.

The simple solution to this situation would be the ability to set up default employee classes and then assign an employees time to the class at which point the appropriate rates would be applied.

Does Premier 2006 have this function?

Thanks

Okay, I'll take a stab at it...

(Girding loins and going not into our wives this night...)

I have no idea.

But, since you have to upgrade from 2003 anyway, give it a shot.
