Printing 2007 W-2 forms

My company is seasonal - we closed 8 weeks ago and I am leaving on vacation til March. I want to print and mail my employees 2007 W2 forms but QB2006 won't let me. It keeps telling me it can only print



2006. I have updated as recently as today - has Inutit not yet released the forms for 2006 W-2's or am I doing something wrong?

The forms are not released until January 1st -- not Intuit's issue, it is the IRS. See the knowledge base article at

02749&sg=... Close all of your programs. Change the date on your taskbar, lower right corner of the desktop screen, to January 2, 2008. Re-boot. Verify that the date in the taskbar date/time area is still set to Jan

2, 2008. Open Quickbooks. Should work.
