Dear All, Having started the new tax year with a clean break on my previously purchased QB2004 Pro copies (Making life much easier than QB6.0 Pro with un-recoverable database); Anyway, I digress.......
In the help file it talks of going through "online settings" then going to "Online banking" etc etc.
Problem is, the "online Banking" bit of the menu is greyed out and in the QB user guides that came with it, it states there is no on-line banking facility under QB2004.
My Bank supports download of bank statements in the correct format (Quicken 2001 and above, the file as specified under QB Help file, yet there is a big problem in that QBooks manual and aplication don't seem to have read the help pages. :¬)
Am I beating my head against the Intuit brick wall?
I could phone Intuit UK under their 30 day set-up scheme, but when I activated the first copy about 18 months ago, I was met with the "we are not able to help unless you have paid for support" mentality.
