QB pro 2005 Terminal Server

Connecting to Quickbooks Pro 2005 with Windows 2003 Server Terminal Server works great except i can only get it working if the users is an Adminstrator.

I was hoping the following fix mentioned many times in this group would also work for 2005 as well

Excerpt from :

a.. copy the %systemroot%\Intuit folder into each users %userprofile%\Windows folder a.. create a Quickbooks Users group a.. add your users to this group a.. give the group Full Control to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intuit\QuickBooksRegistration a.. give the group Full Control to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.QPG a.. give the group Full Control to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\obja.obja a.. give the group Full Control to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Quickbooks.application - QB Premier 2004 only? a.. give the group Modify rights to the Program Files\Intuit\Quickbooks Pro folder

Anybody got a restricted user access to QB Pro 2005 yet?

TIA

I am looking for the same solution. I upgraded to 2005 from 2002 an do not have a %systemroot%/intuit directory the holds more that th install log file

I was unable to get 2002 to work with TS but did not have a reall

good reason to try all that hard -- now I do as my business i growing

I will uninstall and re-install 2005 and will try the solutio

Have you tried access as a "Power User". That works with QBooks 200
