Might be time to upgrade... I've been running QB2000 under Win98SE, can I run it on my XP box?

QuickBooks 99 and 2000 were both tested and certified to work with Windows XP. I've gotten mixed reports on 6.0 working and 5.0 won't install. It goes without saying that 2001 and later will work under XP. (XP came out in
2001).Important though - make sure you get the latest release patch for QB 2000 here:

If you don't update to r8 you might get errors relating to your version of Internet Explorer not being valid.
This is how I would install QB 2000 on your XP machine:
- Install QB2000
- Reboot the machine
- Install the R8 patch
- Reboot the machine
- ...you should be all set.
