Terminal Services Quickbooks 2006 Premier multi user

I noticed an older post of into about using terminal services and quickbooks 2006 or any qb for that matter. I normally don't get on these groups and share my own experiences but in this case I had so much trouble getting good information for this project that I thought I'd relay my results. Basically, I am using Windows Server 2003 standard and have successfully been able to use qb 2006 premier without having the users set as admin. I used

formatting link
(post #2 of 14by qb_girl) to set mine up. It talks about copying the intuit folder toeach user's windows profile folder but I found that I didn't need to dothat. I followed the install instructions and did the registry editsand as far as I can tell I have full functionality including printingand email. If anyone has questions, please let me know. It was a realhassle to do this with the lack of support and info out there so ifanyone needs help I'm more than happy to do what I can. This is myfirst posting on this forum but please message me (assuming this forumhas that option) if you have any questions about what I did. I don'twant to post my email right here so that I start getting spam. You canalso call my cell at 319-325-5427. Seriously I spent a couple monthswith this crap from start to finish, putting in a server, (DON'T BUYSMALL BUSINESS SERVER! if you want to use terminal services), and I'dlove to make it easier on someone else. I don't know why you would say this. I have no problems with our Terminal Server running with our SBS server.

What I mean by that is don't buy SBS thinking that it in itself will run terminal services. My bad for stating it that way.
