Use command line to shut down Quickbooks

Hi - does anyone know a utility or command that shuts down QB? (pro 2004)

I want to have QB shut down using a XP Scheduled Task so my backup utility will work correctly.

many thanks

Set up a new payroll deduction called penalty for not shutting down QQ. Once this deduction starts being used you will no longer need a stinken utility.

Should be QB not QQ.

Try being funny, rather than just an idiot, that might work. Or is there an Intuit upgrade for 'Shut down Allan Martin' I'd buy that.

Ditto Paul, Is he just an AS$$$&^$ or what? Mr. Intuit-stooge, brother to Mr. Potato head. Maybe just remove the mouth or something.

taskkill /im qbw32.exe or taskkill /f /im qbw32.exe

/f specifies forcible shutdown.
