A few problems, QP2004. Fixed in 2006?

My Quicken Premier 2004 is at R5. I don't plan to upgrade until next year when support ends, but I keep having a few problems - all intermittent. All have been reported.

  1. From time to time it displays a humongous number for my assets - like 15 digits. Generally corrects if I close Q and restart it.
  2. When I download transactions to some credit card accounts it automatically reconciles to the online balance. I've tried switching to paper statements but it doesn't stick.
  3. When I download transactions from an investment account, it updates the prices for that account and another that I don't want. Just prices for the unwanted account - not transactions. Makes me have to recalculate the real price for some bonds. Quicken and the broker both disclaim responsibility.
  4. If I've bought a bond with a long name, that I don't have in my list, Q crashes trying to add it. I've learned to manually add the bond to my security list before I access that account in Q again. That works but is annoying. If someone can tell me that these things are fixed in Q2006, maybe I'll buy it.
