Using H&B 2008, so I will need to update soon. I have actively used H&B for several years. No longer using invoices, but I have lots of old invoice records, which I would would like to get rid of now.
What happens if I install Deluxe version now? Can it read the old H&B file? If so, what happens? Does it just discard those H&B invoice records?
My organization was that invoice records transfered credit card funds to a temp holding account for days receipts. Then the holding account made daily transfers to a real bank account, which matched merchant transfers. That bank account is closed now too, but bills were paid out of that bank, so there are lots of useful records involved.
If just the invoice records were deleted, I could add a correction in the closed bank account to make it total to zero. Seems workable. But I suspect it may not work that way?
