Can't get Toolbar Updates to Stick?

Oct 26, 2006 12 Replies

I've been trying to add "Online Services" to my tool bar in Q7, but as soon as I close the program and reopen it, the Online Services disappears from the toolbar and I have to re add it each time I want to use it. How do I get it to remain on the toolbar when I add it?

Thanks for any insights. Charlie

Known issue with the latest update. Only option is to go back to the original program version and wait for a fix. Of course, heaven knows when that will be...

Hank, By "known issue" I assume it has been reported to Tech Support or should I put in a problem report?

IMHO, the answer to the first inferred question (better the word 'or') is irrelevant! Even if everyone already did write up a ticket, you should as well! The squeaky wheel gets the grease! Go for it.

I am having the same problem. Please report it. The more people that do, the more chance the bug will be expedited for a fix.

I'm new here and with Quicken...how/where do I go to submit a problem report/ticket? Art Masson

I reported it.

I see what you mean - I backuped Quicken from the File Menu and the icons I added reappeared, but once I close Quicken, the icon is gone again. So the options are to either readd the icon, or immediately backup Quicken as soon as you open the program. Still un-necessary steps!

Under "Help" in Quicken - either "Product and Customer Support" or "Submit Feedback to Quicken".

If you search in Quicken Help in their support center, you'll find an entry that describes this as a known problem with Quicken 2007 R2. You can sign up for notification of changes to their reply to this problem.

I just updated to R3... seems to have solved this issue.
