In Quicken Deluxe 2007 how do I import a category list from one file to another file? When I try to export a *.QIF it will not do anything.

I don't understand "it will not do anything".
I have no trouble exporting the category list to a qif file using Q2007 Premier.
Note: you must make sure to enter a file name for the qif file; Quicken will prefill the path, but you need to enter the file name (you can also change the path, if you wish).
