Schedule F in Home and Business Edition

The original poster says, "I ... upgraded to Home and Business but have no access to Schedule F ....".

It's not clear just what the op means by that statement.

No version of Quicken prints a standalone Schedule F report. But both the Tax Schedule report and the Tax Summary report will include a Schedule F when - and only when - there are Schedule F transactions that qualify for the report.

" ... and [Quicken] will not let me change the categories to be on the tax summary."

Again, it's not clear what the op is trying to do.

Quicken, out-of-the-box, has no Schedule F categories defined: the user must either create new categories and assign Schedule F to them in the Category List, or modify the Tax Line assignment for the default categories that Quicken provides (*).

[An alternative is to assign a Schedule F Tax Line item to a specific existing Quicken transaction by right-clicking the transaction, selecting "Tax line item assignments", and choosing the appropopriate Tax Line item in the resulting dialog. You can also modify the Tax Line Item assignment for a specific transaction using this technique.] [ (*) Almost all default categories that Quicken supplies out-of-the-box can have their Tax Line item modified - and the vast majority of those categories whose Tax Line item can NOT be changed are the categories starting with an underscore (_)].
