Using q 06 r3, looked at ytd budget report & discovered over $300 in uncategorized transactions in a checking acc't; when I went to each of the 4 transactions they turned out to be transfers of odd am'ts with no acc't listed acc't from which the transfer had occurred. These transfers started in 01/05 & I know they had not been there the end of Sept. Validate & supervalidate showed no errors. As I back up every time I leave qkn I went back -- turned out the last data set that did not have these odd transfers was on 10/03. Meant lots of work restoring transactions to bring up-to-date. I have NO idea what caused this -- no changes or problems w/system or new programs -- & am distressed by this kind of foul-up of financial data. Guess I'm lucky the corruption did not go back to an earlier date.
