Got the notice in Quicken 2010 that R3 was available. The download started, but apparently failed. Now, every time I go to Help / Update Quicken, and choose Download Latest Version, then Update Now, I get Download error reading data file - right after I click the button.
My guess is this is a corrupted download somewhere on my hard drive, but where? A google search leads me to

Which says"Locate the update file on the computer where Quicken 2000 is installed."
Could that be any more vague?
Any hints here?
