Initial trouble was that two dll's had been not out there - msvcr70 and msc70. I dealt with this trouble by copying mentioned dll's into system32. I then uninstalled and reinstalled Quicken 2004 but could only briefly get splash screen, then absolutely nothing. I then made use of the compatibility function in Windows 7 RC devoid of any achievement. Programmes are installed on Toshiba notebook not applying recovery disc, hence producing it a clean install. Other programmes have installed ok. Preceding platform was XP dwelling service pack three with no challenges knowledgeable. Have 1.5gig ram, 1.6 intel processor dual core.
