How do you get rid of the stupid splash screen?

The following works for Quicken 2006 H&B:
Search for a file named splash.bmp - mine's in C\:Program Files\Quicken.
Make a backup copy of splash.bmp.
Right-click on splash.bmp and select Edit to get into Paint (or another image editor).
Position the cursor on the lower-right corner of the image until it becomes a double-headed arrow pointing diagonally.
Drag the cursor to the upper-left corner.
Save the modified/shrunken image, then Exit.
