Whenever I download transactions from my Chase account, also downloaded is a Chase splash screen. When I reboot Quicken, the original splash screen has been replaced by a screen that says "Connected to online services from Chase": "Personal Finances 2008" (even though I'm using Quicken 2009). I found the Chase splash screen (C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit\Quicken\10898) and deleted it. The original Quicken 2009 splash screen comes back up on reboot, but as soon as I access the Chase site, their splash screen is downloaded and replaces the original on the next boot. Is there any way to prevent this, perhaps by a change in the registry or Quicken.ini file? Appreciate your help.

This has not (yet) happened with my Q2008 DL (US).
I believe there is.
Locate "quicken.ini" in
D:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit\Quicken\Config
(for Windows XP).
Find "SPLASH=" and modify the path/file name to point to the splash screen you want.
I tested this for a single download and it appeared to work.
