Intuit Sign In

I have run into quiet a problem with Quicken 2016 sign-in. I am locked out of my account. I have done everything I know to do to get logged back into my account. I have created half dozen passwords and each time I am told to creat a new password. Nothing works. I am locked out. The only thing I have not tried is trying their premium (cost money) login.

This is not the first time I have ran into this, but before I was always able to get back into the account. I don't know why this keeps happening.

By the way, Why does it keep wanting me to use my Intuit log-in? I thought it was separated from Intuit now.

Same here. I think they are broken. Will try again tomorrow morning.

FWIW, I'm having the same problem here, even after I reset the password. Something clearly broken on their end, will try again later today.

Are you talking about using OSU to retrieve your transactions? Do you also use the option to sync to Quicken cloud and/or update your transactions on Quicken.com? I'm trying to understand the environment you're using when you say Quicken 'sign-in'. I've been using Quicken for over 28 years and I don't think I've ever "signed in"....

What I am doing is Opening my quicken file, after having closed it the night before. Yes I am attempting to update my various banking etc. files. Then that is requiring me to enter an Intuit password. I have ran into this a few times before. I enter my intuit password and everything goes fine, for a while. This time it would not accept my password file, so I attempt to enter a new password but nothing works. However, when I tried it again this morning, low & behold, it worked. I have a feeling that Quicken screwed something up last night but I was able to enter a new password and it is working for now.

Just a follow up. This is what I received this morning.

Hi there. We're confirming that...

Thanks, Intuit Team

OK,great. Glad to know it's working for you again!

Something clearly broken on their end, will try again later today.

The next time I started Quicken (2016 R12), I was prompted to install a man datory R13 update, which I did successfully. After the update, I was prompt ed to create a new Quicken ID (as opposed to the Inuit ID I was previously using). I did, and from there all has worked as expected since.

Like some others who posted here, I had previously been periodically prompt ed to enter my Inuit ID when I did a One Step Update, which I would do and the update would continue successfully from there. But this issue was not t hat - it was about the changeover from the Intuit ID to the Quicken ID, whi ch I didn't realize yet when I posted the first time.
