Works just fine for me, in Quicken identify financial institution for account as ING and activate downloads (only supported via One-Step-Update.

My ING account offers a qfx download, initiated from the ING web site, and probably from a web access from within Quicken as well. That is like webconnect, *not* a onestep update.

So yes, ING furnushes a download for use in Quicken (US), and no, there is no download in the form of a onestep update from within Quicken.

This is correct. ING Direct used to support Onestep Update downloads directly in Quicken but they stopped that a year or so ago for what they called security reasons. They went to webconnect only so they could require you to enter your pin and one other piece of personal information (zip code, year of birth, etc.). It was a step backward in usability, but as with everything in the computer security business, it's a balance between user ease and security.
