Is this a known bug for Q2005 PH&B?

I submitted this bug report...

BUG SUMMARY: "Days in advance" setting for online payments stay at "6"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THIS BUG:

  1. Setup an online payment for a future date
  2. Set it as "Online payment from Quicken"
  3. Set it to "Count business days" only under Options tab
  4. Try to set the "Days in Advance" setting to "4"

RESULTS: "Days in Advance" setting reverts to "6"

EXPECTED: "Days in Advance" setting is set to whatever the user sets it to.

I can't reproduce that; days in advance remains 4. I don't have H&B, but I don't think that is causing the difference. Perhaps you left out some other condition. Perhaps it relates to the the payee, and/or the financial institution, or .... Or perhaps the date of your payment had a weekend within 4 days of the payment.

Did you do "Step 2"? It works for "Checking" payments, but not for online payments. I'll look further.

Yes I did elect to make it an Online Payment; I have a bank account that will accept online billpay from Quicken. I do not have Quicken Billpay; was that involved in your transaction?

I just tried it on an "online" payment due Jan 13, Friday. The "Days in advance" value reverts to "6".

I have Q2005 Deluxe R3; what release are you using?

I do not have Quicken Billpay; at least I think so since I've never used it. The choice I have in "Transaction Method" is "Online Payment from Quicken", though I know it's my bank that writes the checks.
