I've got a confusing one here... I'm using Quicken 2004 Deluxe. When I enter a payee (quick fill works fine), sometimes the category pre-fills, sometimes it does not. In looking at the Memorized transaction list, I can't see anything different from the ones that do pre fill the category and the ones that don't. They all have categories, aren't locked (though I did lock a few to see if it made a difference), all the data is there. As addl info.. in the quick fill settings, all the boxes are checked. Any clue as to why some would pre-fill the category, and others won't?
