I can't fond a way, in Quicken 2017 R10, to move and merge an account from one brokerage into an existing account at a different broakerage. It appears that Quicken does not allow merging nor does it allow changing brokerage. What am I missing? R Wink

The EASIEST way to do this is to deactivate the 1st account from download and then erase the FI name in the Account Setup window. Then Exit Q, Restart Q and re-activate the account with the new FI name. You can't change the info while the account is activated. And the…

The EASIEST way to do this is to deactivate the 1st account from download and then erase the FI name in the Account Setup window.
Then Exit Q, Restart Q and re-activate the account with the new FI name.
You can't change the info while the account is activated. And the Exit/Restart is necessary to insure that Q "forgets" the prior settings.
