We have 2 machines setup with the multi-user version of QB Premier 2006 Manufacturering and Wholesale. Machine A holds the company datafile, machine B can connect to it .. if ...
I close QB on machine A .. open the company file on machine B (via a network share on machine A) then I select "switch to multi-user mode" .. go back to machine A and open the company file there as well and we're good.
Then a few days later, Machine B gets the error that it can't open the company file. I have to go through the above steps again, it works for a while and then seems to reset back to single user modnme on machine B.
Is there anyway to stop this from happening ??
Of course the user reports that they have not changed anything.
