Net Worth Reports

" Under the reports toolbar, at the very bottom, is a "Net Worth & Balances" category that contains an "Account Balances" report. That report can be tailored to include/exclude various categories, accounts, etc.

Assuming you've entered or obtained the correct data for the accounts included, that's the method. Works for me in Q for over 30 years of using Q.

Do you have all the accounts selected? Even hidden accounts?

In what way is the Net Worth report incorrect? Have you examined it, account by account, to determine WHICH accounts are incorrect? What are you comparing the report to do determine that it's wrong?

I don't believe that, for the net worth report at least, Q "searches" anything.

It simply uses the balance as of the selected report date in the particular selected accounts (along with other criteria such as securities, classes, tags, etc. in effect - and the default is ALL of them).
