My Online Update Summary has two error messages from a month ago for two accounts that Quicken said I could activate but it turned out I couldn't. How do I get rid of them?

In my Quicken 2006 H&B:
Online - Online Update Summary - Transmission Summaries.
There is an X by each summary, clicking on that brings up a dialog box asking if you want to delete that summary.

Quicken 2004 H&B does not have the X.
I tried deactivating transaction download for the two accounts and the error messages were removed. However, as soon as I do a Web Connect download (which is successful) the old error message reappears.

Funny; my Q2004 H&B does. You need to click on "Transmission Summaries". And I have noticed that sometimes (in Q2005 or Q2006 anyway), the "X" can disappear ... but the dark grey box that surrounded the "X" remains, and can be clicked.
