2008 One Step Update Summary

Anyone else have a problem with the One Step Update Summary?

I have Quicken programmed to download new transactions every day at 6AM and so far that's been happening as expected. When I start up Quicken an hour or so later, the One Step Update Summary screen pops up, eve though I've checked the little box that says only open this if there is a problem.

Rick:

Do you use Scheduled Transactions? I have so many accounts that my Scheduled Update (which I run at 9 Eastern to get delayed quotes for the day) NEVER completes without at least one error, usually from one of my Citi business credit cards. It's been so long since I've had an error free Scheduled Update that I don't remember if the Summary pops up when there are no errors. I DO remember that if I have ANY Scheduled Transactions due that day, the OSU Summary WILL pop up even when there are no errors in downloading.

I do use Scheduled Updates to download any new transactions but not to make payments. I recently upgraded from Quicken Deluxe 2006 and it worked as expected. That is, when there were no errors in the download, the little flag would appear in the System Tray and doubleclicking on that flag brought be to the register with no popup status window.

IIRC, that's what the little checkbox on the status window is for - "Don't show this window if there are no errors."
