quicken 2008 and quicken.com driving me crazy

Oct 10, 2007 4 Replies

Ok, this is driving me sort of nuts. I had no problem with this in

2005 version.

On the update summary page that shows up after a one-step-update, I have selected the "check this if you only want to show if there is an error" on the summary screen after the one-step-update.

Problem is, quicken keeps seeing my lack of an update at quicken.com as an error, and therefore pops the screen up anyway!! How do i tell it to completely ignore quicken.com for updates? I don't use it, or have it registered as an account anywhere!

help! thanks

Jason:

In my Q2008 H&B, there is a box by Quicken.com in the OSU opening screen, if you also have that, have you tried just un-checking it?

what is the OSU? All i have when i first open quicken is that it asks for a password. Do you mean the "home page" that is new to quicken

2008? I'll check there, i set quicken to start directly into my accounts page since i didn't like that start page.

OSU = One Step Update

or an University in a Midwest state with a good football team.

Oilcan
