The Paycheck entry will not allow me to select an account to split my deposit into.
Does it matter if it is a foreign bank account? It shouldn't, IMO.

Pollard reported on, it does indeed matter. The foreign accounts are not offered as options.
Well, that sucks.
I suppose I'll have to set up an auto transfer on the same date.
You can create your own split transaction for your paycheck which will have no such restrictions; you are not required to use the Paycheck Wizard.
To echo JP's comment ...
I almost NEVER use the Wizards for anything. There's just to many unstated restrictions and assumptions. At MOST, assuming I can't figure the txn out (which is almost unheard of these days) I'll use the Wizard to gain insight into the txn ... delete the Wizard output and enter it the way I want.
