My portfolio increased in value by about $40,000,000 when I did my regular download this morning. I tried the download again an hour later and got the same results. It is probably something I did but just wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem??

Liquidate the entire thing now, and move to the Caymen Islands. :)
What caused the huge increase? It was either a huge increase in the price of one or more securities, or the number of shares held. Probably the former.
You should go to your financial institution's web site and see what it says.
The problem comes from how Quicken is calculating the value of my shares of ?SPDR BARCLY INTERMEDIATECORP ETF?. I have 5 transaction entries for 2016 and early 2017. Before the daily download, an example of the value of one entry is: Price4.35, Number and Value = 650.75. That is correct and agrees with what the financial institution's website shows.
After the download, the Price and Number were still the same but the Value increased from 650.75 to
935,183.42. It only happens with this one stock. The last actual transaction was in May 2017 so I don?t know why it started to misbehave today. No other stocks in my portfolio are affected. I guess I?ll wait until tomorrow to see if a new download fixes things.

Do CTRL-Y, click on the particular security, click on UPDATE, click on EDIT PRICE HISTORY. Do the numbers in the PRICE column look correct?
The correct Price is about 34.45 but the Price History shows 49,187.78 so that is where my phony $40,000,000 came from. The price history shows that this started on Oct 10. Is there someone I can contact to get the Price History fixed?
Just edit it to a more reasonable figure.

The ticker symbol for that security just changed from ITR to SPIB. SPIB downloads correct prices.
It appears to be a little bit more complicated. The position was closed on the brokers account on
9/1 and a dividend was delivered on 10/10. That was the day I started getting strange pricing. I have to dig into this a little more. Basically, I think, I want to make sure that the stock was credited with the dividend but I don't want to download quotes anymore.
As John Pollard pointed out, the ticker symbol was changed. My position was not closed. I'll get this fixed after I spent a little more time. Thanks for your help folks
Thanks for the tip on the symbol change. I restored from the previous day where the Price History was correct. I followed the instructions in Help and changed the ticker symbol from ITR to SPIB. I followed this with an OSU and everything is now fine. Many thanks, John, for the tip on changed ticker symbol.
To stop downloading the quotes, simply go to the Securities List, find the stock, then uncheck any boxes with checks in them
I changed the symbol ITR to SPIB so ITR no longer appears on the Securities List. Therefore, the quote no longer downloads because the symbol is gone.
