} I don't believe your problem has to do with Discover changing their server } setup. } } "Discover Card Account Center" is the Web Connect financial institution } for Discover; "Discover Card" is the Direct Connect financial institution } for Discover. Both financial institution names have existed for quite some } time.
Got it.
} I would deactivate the account from downloading, change the financial } institution name to "Discover Card", then re-activate the account for } downloading again.
Did that and found that the 'institution' on the main account page for my discover acct had changed to the "account center". Deactivated, changed it to 'discover card' and re-activated. And I'm stunned to report that it
*all*worked*. I got transactions downloaded!! Unfortunately, it is [it seems] a years-worth of them [first one in the batch is july 5 2010]]. I think I'm just going to delete them through until I get to recent ones and then see if my acct starts behaving.
THANKS for the advice!! /bernie\
