Privacy Notice

Mar 23, 2014 2 Replies

For the past week or so, every time I start Quicken (2013 Premier) I get a popup about Intuit's Annual Privacy Notice. I have clicked on the link and read the notice and always click Close to indicate that I acknowledge it.

How can I make this go away?

Thanks

This was discussed in this froup in 2011. You might be able to find it in Google, the thread subject was Annual Privacy Notice Message Sorry, but Google search is too unpleasant for me. I am not going to try.

In 2011, the solution was to hand-edit the file QUICKEN.INI. On my peeee, this file is located at C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Quicken\Config on your peecee, it might be elsewhere.

Anyway, this is a quote from the 2011 post:

Look for the section in the INI file named "[GLB]" and look at the "Date=" right below that. Correct this to be a date in the future, formatted as your system is set for short dates (12/22/2009 or 29-Dec-2009, or whatever)."

Worked a treat. Thanks
