Q D '08 R6: x'action download flag won't clear for account

Apr 23, 2008 5 Replies

When transactions have been downloaded, a little flag appears to the left of the account name, indicated that the transactions are ready for review.

During a One-Step-Update, I apparently did a no-no & began accepting x'actions in other accounts that had already been downloaded.

Q crapped out. I remember getting a message about creating a dump file, which I declined.

Now I've got a flag that won't go away, even though there are no x'actions ready for review.

I've tried validating & copying the file, to no avail.

Any suggestions?

That little flag can be there for multiple reasons, not just to tell you there are downloaded transactions.

Hold your cursor on the flag: it will tell you why it's there.

It's the "Transactions are ready for review" message. Don't know if I have the exact verbiage, but that's what it says (not currently at the PC).

I do know that the flag shows up as a prompt for scheduled transactions that are due, but this account doesn't have any of those.

Have you tried this?

Go to the Online Center off of the Online menu. Scroll through the accounts to find which account. Select the account and I believe it will open up the dialog in the account register in question. Once in awhile transactions get stuck here for some reason.

That didn't work. There's nothing shown there for this account. I've even tried disabling online access, but it prevents that, telling me I have transactions to review.

Never mind. It's cleared.

I don't know why this time was different, but when I Updated again, the flag cleared. I tried that 2 or 3 times before w/o change & then hoped that this morning's scheduled Update/Accept would reset it.

However, when I got home, I updated again & it went away.

Thanks for the help, anyway.
