Q displaying (or not, now) "PENDING" transactions (2023 Update)

I presume I'm not the only one who received a pop-up in the last couple of days indicating Q is immediately disabling the ability to show 'pending' banking transactions in your transactions. Seems like some folks were upset at the implementation or forced displays for something they couldn't control.

(Personally, I never was able to find the switch that turned it off despite the screen shots on how to do that starting with "SETUP", . but that's for naught now.)

I think there was somewhat of an over-reaction to the introduction of this feature - mostly, it seemed to me, by those who tended to support having pending transactions downloaded.

Personally I can't think of any good reason for the expenditure to provide/maintain this feature in the first place; but if it must be, I think it should come with a simple Quicken Preference that offers the option to totally exclude pending transactions.

It sounds like you recently received a pop-up notification from Quicken indicating that they are disabling the ability to show "pending" banking transactions in your transactions. Some users may have been upset with the implementation or forced displays for something they couldn't control.

It's worth noting that Quicken has made some changes in their recent updates to improve the user experience and comply with banking regulations. The "pending" transactions feature was enabled by default for some users, but it may not be relevant or useful for everyone.

If you are unable to find the switch to turn off the "pending" transactions feature, it may not be available anymore.

It's important to keep in mind that the feature was disabled, and you won't be able to see the pending transactions anymore. However, you can still see the actual transactions once they have cleared and are processed by your bank.
