I do remember a few "crashes", but not any "disappearances". 'Course my memory isn't so hot any more, so it well could have happened. I had Q2002 before Q2005. And are you thinking of "System Resources"? I have Win XP now, so that specific issue doesn't occur. But I do tend to stress Windows capabilities when it comes to running things; especially when I get my terminal emulator running about 4 instances, so perhaps some capacity problem was involved; unfortunately I did not take stock of what else was running at the time ... I think my astonishment overcame my good sense.
I confess to not knowing how that could be, but I also confess to wondering if it was something along those lines. At least one poster has now reported the problem in the Intuit sponsored Quicken forums, so Intuit should now be on notice.
