Q2004 Deluxe - Investment Accts: Can't use memorized invst transactions; No "empty" transaction at bottom.

Aug 21, 2006 1 Replies

Using Quicken 2004 Deluxe. In Investment Accts I can enter transactions only thru the pop-up "wizard." I've memorized an Investment Transaction and now want to use it. There is no "empty" transaction at the bottom of the list into which I could insert the memorized ones. How can I use memorized Investment Transactions in an Investment Acct. Transaciton Register? Note: No way to Copy-Paste existing Investment Transactions either. Any suggestions?

The only way to use an investment account Memorized Transaction is with a Scheduled Transaction Group. Create a Scheduled Transaction Group, include one or more Memorized Investment account transactions in the group; when you Enter the Group transaction, each of its memorized transactions will be entered.
