Quicken 2005 turn off window auto minimization?

Hi Folks, I just upgraded to Quicken 2005, and I have a problem with new windows created from Quicken, e.g. clicking on "customize" from the account bar, or selecting account list from the "Tools" menu. If my mouse is over where the window will appear, then the window will open, but if I move my mouse off the window, then it will be immediately minimized to the bottom of the main Quicken window. In the case of the "customize" button, my my mouse is never over where the window will appear (because I'm clicking the button), and then as soon as I move the mouse the new window minimizes.

(apparently I'm not smart enough to manage the window myself :-(

How do I stop this insanity? It's driving me frikken nuts.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, Scott.

The rest of us are not having such problems with Q2005, so my guess is that the problem is somewhere in your particular hardware or other software.

Please tell us at least a little about your computer, especially the Windows version: WinXP? Win9x/ME? Other?

What make and model computer (or mainboard/CPU/chipset if you built it yourself)? What graphics card? Do you have the latest/best drivers for your graphics? Anything unusual in your Display Properties settings?

Thanks, RC, that was the clue I needed: Quicken is not compatible with TweakUI's X-mouse function. (I'm using WinXP Home SP2 on a Dell Dimension 4100)
