Quicken 2009 & 64bit Vista

Does anyone have any experience running 2009 (or 2008 for that matter) Quicken under 64bit Vista?

Any serious problems?

Hi, Theron.

After a full year of running Q2008 Deluxe without problems, I upgraded to Q2009 Deluxe last week. No problems with either of them in Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 (or with Q2008 before SP1).

Like RC, I was running Q2008 H&B under Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1 w/o problems. Running Q2009 H&B now w/o problems either.

Hi, Bob - and Theron.

I'd like to add that Q2009 has apparently solved the long-standing issue of scrolling with my Microsoft wireless mouse in Quicken reports. It now scrolls down, as well as up. ; Like RC, I was running Q2008 H&B under Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1 w/o

What's the problem? I've been using Logitech mice (wired, IR and wireless) with many versions of Setpoint and many versions of Quicken, with both XP and Vista 64, and have never seen any anomaly.

Try opening Billminder. All is well with XP but with Vista and any version of Setpoint, Billminder won't open except at boot up.

Easy fix and ONLY fix, MS Intellipoint and MS Mouse.

From the Logitech forums: "It isn't just Billminder. The included Home Inventory program also will not load. I, too, tracked the problem down to Logitech's Setpoint (G5 mouse) via diagnostic boot. Under startup, check all boxes except Setpoint and QHI works as it should after boot. Recheck the Setpoint box, reboot, QHI refuses to load."

And: "I got an email from someone on Logitech who says it's a known problem with no current solution. I hear you on the bills thing, as I missed one or two when all this was happening." There's a bunch of threads on the problem, it's apparently well known. I filed the first (I think?) bug report on this around the time of Vista RC2 release.
