Quicken Ambassador Program - Beware!!!

Well, either they are the most disorganized project group ever or the program went belly up without further notification, but I was asked to be a "Quicken Ambassador" and basically never heard from them again after being "accepted." I received a 'follow up' call when I couldn't attend a 'meeting' with just 24 hours notice. I was told I was selected from about 800 applicants and just 100 were selected. Sounds like a CIA plot for a hit!

So what is the benefit of being a "Quicken Ambassador?"

I was told I would get a freee update to Q2006. A big $80 savings - for how many hours of work and meetings? Hardly worth the time! But now, with Q2006 having so many problems on the Mac runnning OS X, there is basically NO value to the project for the "ambassadors."

Some green PR person over at Quicken probably had a 'bright idea' that basically sucked. Ands I fell for it! DUH!!!

Don't waste your time!
