Quicken User Forums?

Reward points may be assigned to a message (usually a question) by the message author. The author then awards part or all of those assigned points to other members whose replies are helpful in answering the author's question.

So it's just a rating system and there are no tangible "rewards"? Other bboards just put stars by the users' names depending upon how prolific they are. Anyway, thanks for answering my question, Rick.

Margaret

No tangible rewards that I see. I have not seen any explanation of the reward points beyond what I quoted you. I don't post there often enough to earn any. Perhaps my life will improve if I can accrue some; I'll take all the help I can get...

This is done in that NG also. They call it "ratings", as opposed to "reward points".

My apologies, I was responding to Steve's post, not yours.

The reward points have no real meaning. It is a kind of incentive to encourage people to try and help others. The idea is that one can post reward points when asking questions and then earn reward points by answering said question.

I keep hoping they'll translate into an Intuit-logoed cap or pen, but perhaps that only happens at the 1,000 point mark. :)
