Periodically when I open Quicken 2004, the opening screen asks if I am a new user or want to open a datafile.
If I tell it to open a datafile on the computer, then go to my normal file in QUICKENW, it can't open the file. However, if I copy the appropriate files to another folder and THEN try to open them, it will, and I'm back to normal.
This is getting tiring and I'm afraid I'll open the wrong file sometime. Where do I start to fix the problem?
