I would like to hear from anyone who had bought the 2007 download version to see if I am having unique issues.



I have been able to install and activate the product - but so far I have not been able to launch Quicktax.



Quicktax 2007 support is still dormant, so I have had some rather inane responses from email support - which does not work 24 x 7 despite the support site's claim.



It is not like I am new to all this - I have Quicktax personal and business for a few years, and Quicken and Quickbooks and all work. I am still on XP, not Vista. I have read through the diagnostic outputs and have seen no light. Quicktax support has not seen any light either after 5 days.



So - is QUICKTAX 2007 to be AVOIDED altogether?

CRA will release final updates in a few weeks, but it should be possible to load up everything else - and use the current rates tables. We cannot actually file till the final updates are delivered, of course.

Anyway - I cannot get the product to start up to get to the first page right now.

Clearly the product was not finished when I bought it last week - except for InstallShield and the Activation routine!
