When I download transactions from my broker in which I transferred equities from one account to another the downloaded transactions appear in quicken as "removed" from one account and "added" to the other.
Is there an advantage in replacing these transactions with quicken's "transfer to another account" transactions ?
Using "Transfer to Another Account" preserves the cost basis.
