repeated download of unneeded split

I continue to get a download of a split for a stock I own but didn't buy until after the split date. Clearing the split, even accepting it does not clear the error from repeating on my next OSU. Is there a fix for this?

Not at this time. Intuit is working with their data supplier to address this issue.

Chances are that the offered split ratio is different each time, thus Quicken asks if you want the 'new' one. Normally if the split ratio is constant, Quicken will not ask if it sees the same data already in your file.
