When I print a report quicken seems to think the paper is longer. End result is the last line stops before it is fully printed. Any suggestions?

Yeah. Use longer paper, I.e. legal size.
I've seen a lot of printers (or drivers) default to "A4," rather than "Letter," paper size.
Check your settings.

isn't "shrink to fit" option available?
Only if one is literate enough to understand what it means.
