Scheduled bill paid from wrong account

Somehow, two of my monthly bills are being paid from the wring account (Quicken Deluxe 2016).

How do I correct that for next month?

Thanks.

More info needed. WHAT bill pay product are you using? Quicken BillPay or your bank's bill pay?

For either response, YOU set it up improperly ... but how it gets fixed differs.

Neither one. I want to have quicken send a payment request to my bank, just as if I had made an entry in the check register. The difference between the former and the latter is that the former uses the same amount each month (like a car payment).

I thought I had set that properly but apparently I goofed.

Never mind. I found the error and corrected it.

That's using your banks bill pay, as directed from Q. Glad that you figured it out.

I'm not using the bank's bill pay AFAIK.

I'm still not sure how to set up what I want -- and what I had previously!!

If you're sending directions, from within Q, to your BANK ... you're using the bank's BillPay function.

If you're sending directions, from within Q, to Quicken BillPay ... then you're using that.

There are no other options.

And, what account is being used to pay those bills is determined by the setup of either of those billpay functions. But until you figure out what you're using there's not much anyone can do to help you.

I logged on to my bank and went to the Bill Pay page. It shows that I made a payment to my cardiologist on 9/23/16 and one to AT&T Universal Card on 8/15/16. Nothing is pending.

Then I opened Quicken and Tools > Quicken Bill Pay. Aha! I have been using Quicken Bill Pay!! :-) Must have forgotten that.
