Security missing in Securities List

Mar 04, 2012 2 Replies

I have a security that is in the system. It shows up when I list my holdings in the account and in the Securities list.

However, when I an in the account and entering transactions, the security doesn't appear when I click on the pull down. However, if I copy and paste the name into the security field, it accepts it and enters teh transaction correctly.

Any ideas on what has happened and how to get it back? BTW, these are funds that are part of an annuity I have and are not publicly traded.

Any chance you have told Quicken that the security is of "Type", "Market Index"? I'm pretty sure Quicken doesn't think you can "own" a "Market Index".

Edit the security in the Security List to view and change, if necessary.

John,

Spot on! That was it. Thanks.
