Same here, free Q'08 upgrade for BillPay customers....installed and works fine...well as fine as Q works. There are always bugs you know. My data file (back to Jan. '89) converted without a glitch. Overall, I'm happy I guess.

Yup, FREE. As in no money paid. I got the free upgrade available notice in my email the day after I started this thread. I suggest if you're using billpay to stop buyying upgrades. They've sent my upgrades free since 1999 and probably even earlier versions too.

Time to go go explore what's "new" in Q08.

I just installed the Q2008 upgrade from Q2005 Premier. Wish I could stick with the older version. I run Q2005 on an Apple Imac G5 1.6mhz, using Virtual PC. Here's the rub: Q2005 ran a little pokey, but it was usable with this arrangement. The newest version, however, is incredibly slow, it takes forever to refresh the screen and there are other problems. I'm at a loss, I've been using Quicken since 1990. I wonder if doubling the RAM of my Imac from 1 gig to 2 gigs will solve the problem, or at least lessen them. Right now, it's really unworkable. Any ideas out there? Mark
