Specifying lots in sales

Quicken 2005

When I accept downloaded transaction in my investment account I am often asked to specify lots. For my purposes I do not need to do that and I therefore do not do so and instead just click on "OK". However this takes a lot of unnecessary time.

Is there a way to tell Quicken to automatically assume I do not want to specify the lot being sold?

Thanks

If you switch all securities to ave cost, it will not ask you about lots.

Average cost is only allowed for mutual funds; and in Q2005, the option is only available for mutual funds. It's not clear how op avoids needing to specify lot info in the real world; but I know of no way to avoid it Quicken ... unless every sale is the sale of shares of a mutual fund which qualifies for the average cost method.
