Transfer transactions

I have some memorized transfer transactions that when they get automatically entered in the register, they don't place "Txfr" for that record. How can I get this transaction to always enter "Txfr" for these memorized transactions? This will save me quite a bit of some time entering data into the system.

Also, when I transfer data from Account A to Account B (whether it is done manually or through a memorized transaction), the "TXFR" is not listed in Account B. How can this be done automatically as this will save me quite a bit of time.

I am using Quicken 2005 Canadian edition.

Thanks

Caveat, I use Q2005 for Windows, US.

You have "memorized" transactions that get "automatically entered in the register"? Not sure whether this is a country version difference or a terminology difference. Memorized transactions don't usually affect anything unless you manually enter a transaction or Accept a downloaded transaction with QuickFill operating.

In the US version, if I memorize a transaction that is already in my register, and that register transaction has "TXFR" in the Num field; when I later manually enter a new transaction for that payee, QuickFill *does* put "TXFR" in the newly entered transaction. Is that not occurring for you?

In the US version, the Num field is not carried to the TO account for transfers. I think there are instances when one would not want the Num field carried into the TO account, so I have never found it to be a problem.

I can try to re-memorize a transaction with the "TXFR" in the Ref field. And see if it works. I will also verify that QuickFill is on.

Thanks for the info.
